I hate. loathe... better yet DESPISE Algebra!

I have spent more than 24 hours (not all together) studying the chapter and doing practice problems and all the extra problems just so I can wrap my tiny mind around the "basics" and after taking the quiz and the test I end up with 43.50 out of 50 possible. That's a "B" people. I know that a B is still good but it took all that damn work for just a B. Oy... this is just the first week! I guess it's a good thing I am not working because I probably would be failing this damn course right now!!!

ok... I am done venting... I need a drink! Maybe a couple... screw it, I am going for the bottle!

I have no life....

seriously. I work from 8am to 4:30pm. Which means I usually get out of bed around 6:45 sometimes I will drag my ass out of bed at 6:15. It all depends on whether I got sleep the night before.

Jeff usually takes a bus from school to my work, provided that he is not babysitting. After work I will pick up both the girls. Britt gets picked up at Grandma's and Katie gets picked up from after school care. Then it's off to home to cook dinner. Occasionally I will get a reprieve from making dinner if Chris feels up to cooking. Normally I will get on the computer after dinner since I do not do the dishes. This is why having kids is a perk:). On Fridays as you can see I will post on my blog, spend time at my favorites blogs or watch a night of t.v. with Chris. Chris has now taken to attend "safety meetings" with colleagues after work. This consists of hanging out at their favorite bar and "chat" about work. It's cool that he gets out. I on the other hand have to ponder what needs to be done this weekend because I know no fun for me is in store.

The highlight of my Saturday so far will be to teach my mom how to input items onto our Regalo Boutique site. She is begging for stuff to do so she can get out of the house. I so know that feeling:) and of course laundry. While laundry always flow into Sunday. I get started on it early enough but I always end up finishing it the next day. That's probably because I get interrupted like a million times to other things. One day a month I would like to be completely alone and allowed to just slum that day off. I would love to be able to read an entire book in one day. That is my bliss.

I am still up

and the reason is clear.... no sex for me tonight... oh well.. like I expected tonight to be any different. Hmmm.. what to do.
I am seriously thinking of going outside the box. Maybe dabble in the senior citizen genre. Maybe the $$RICH$$ section of retirement central of Florida..
Hey, I wouldn't have to work, just screw some poor sap that hasn't been laid in over a century.. I could become the next Anna Nicole Smith BEFORE she lost her weight on drugs.... what! it could happen.

Lightning strikes again....

So, I was in the middle of composing a post when ZAP all the lights went out. Mind you I am at work, but they are pretty lax if you keep up with your work. So now I have to remember what I was saying. Oh well... We have been watching the afternoon T-storm here and man it's gorgeous to see the bluish black sky and the bright white lightning span across the sky. I have always loved thunderstorms even as a child I could watch for hours.

We are just now getting in to the rainy season in Florida. Normally you would have at least one afternoon shower a day. We have just a few so far. It's nice because it cools the temp down just a little while it rains but as soon as it stops the temperature goes back up.

Ok.. got work to do.

What to do....

when the only time I have to post on my site is during work? I mean I am at work now and everyone around here is surfing the damn web. I might as well take advantage of that too:) This past weekend has been a busy one.
Katie's Girl Scout cookie booths are finally over. Geez... I was beginning to dream about the damn cookies:) but at least the girls reached their goal and will have more than enough to sponsor their next year camping trips and so on.

Jeff is still working hard at the same job although he is looking for a better one. It's hard finding an employer that understands that school is priority and the job is second.

Chris has been working on our business website. Tweaking things and feverishly trying to find a cheap shipping rate for our neighbors in Canada. Never thought we would have that problem. Our distributor does not ship to outside the United States. So we would have to have the merchandise shipped to us and then reship it most likely by USPS. It would just take a week or two longer for our customers in Canada to receive their goods. You learn something new every day.

Me? Well I have been contemplating in my head the order of which I need to take care of the things around my house that have been neglected for too long now. My head hurts already :) also we get our puppies this weekend and the house definitely needs puppy proofing. And of course we need to get their necessities before they arrive. So I am pretty sure we will be shopping for those things on Friday. Chris' family is coming over for St. Patricks Day dinner (corn beef and cabbage) I am personally not a big fan of that meal so a few of us will be having lasagna.

What have you been up to?
