Cold weather and joints falling apart!

It's a bit colder in Florida today. With the cold front from the north pushing its way in and the nasty rain shower with high winds yesterday, my joints are screaming at me. I swear my body is trying to tell me that even though I am only 38 years old, arthritis is looming around the very next corner. Chris is suffering with a lower back spine sprain that should start to feel better in another 4 weeks. It can take anywhere from 3-8 weeks for something like that to straighten itself out. He is going on week 4 now. The doctor recommended Physical Therapy to help alleviate the discomfort but at $75 a pop and the first installment of $100.00 we would be looking at $1000.00 over the next two weeks. TWO WEEKS! That is crazy!!! So... luckily for him I have been his personal masseuse. He gets a 30 minute rub down just before bed. He knows that once his back is in tip top shape again the rub downs won't come free. ;)

Those high winds yesterday were actually part of a tornado that touched down. Only certain parts of the area saw that, you and I were one of them...LOL
I took some video of it happening, it was crazy. 1 minute just rain, the next shit was hitting our house!

But yeah, the rain and cold is totally affecting me too.
I am so freaking sore and I haven't done anything strenuous at all to cause the extra pain, so it's definitely the weather.

Kat - I heard about the high winds "might have been a small tornado" on the local news but the meterologist said that there was no evidence of funnels or swirling winds to confirm it. The winds were coming on straight. I know the winds were high when I was walking to pick up Katie from school and the rain felt like knives slicing through me. To think I walked in that just sends shivers down my spine!!!!

Hazy and 45 degrees here. It's colder than it sounds, though.

I think I'm ready for spring, definitely.

AmyD - 45? Crap that's too cold during the day for me and I originally hail from Ohio. I know, I am such a baby:) It's supposed to be as low as 37 tonight and my first though was that is almost freezing!
