I am just sitting here with my family as we get ready to bring in the new year together. Chris and I are not the partying type and we enjoy spending time together as a family. It keeps us safe from all the craziness of having to drive home and pray that we make it safely and we know where our kids are and wouldn't want to spend it any other way.

We did the same thing, stay home, watch the ball drop in our living room and comfy clothes.
I hear you on not going out, Mindy! Last night I made a steak dinner, we watched the Three Stooges Marathon, and opened a bottle of Le Cheapeaux Champagne at midnight.
Plus, it is COLD up here. Temps last night were in the teens, with wind chills below zero. And when I woke up this morning, it was 7 degrees! Yep, staying in is much better!
